A lot of folks email us asking how to change the "Go To" link and/or text on their forum. You know, this one:

Here's how you change these settings:
-
Sign in to the Admin Console
-
Go to Settings
-
Go to the Account (Billing/Invoices) tab
-
Change the Organization Name to change the text after "Go To"
-
Change the Organization URL to change where this link points

I'll be the first to admit this isn't easy to find, and moving this to a more sensible location and renaming it is on our to-do list. The only reason we haven't gotten to it yet is because this change ties in ...
A disturbing number of companies seem to have the same misconception: that getting customer feedback is a right, and responding to it is a favor.
I'm not sure where this idea comes from. Here in the USA we have a lot of rights spelled out for us. Free speech, the pursuit of happiness...but nowhere do I see it written that your customers should be thankful that they can give you feedback.
Your customers are the ones bringing you revenue. They're doing this in exchange for a product or service. When they give you feedback, they are going above and beyond what is required of them to use ...

The thing is, Randy isn't making a moral choice in a vacuum. He understands his customers, and (perhaps unconsciously) knows how much he could lose if he does something that his customers would be uncomfortable with. While, as ...
Last night one of our servers started experiencing issues which caused the server to give users 404 error pages on some UserVoice forums. Because the server didn't crash outright (darn server), we didn't get a "things are really broken" error. The type of error that occurred is rather difficult to monitor, unfortunately.
When we received word of the 404 errors, the team tracked down the cause and restarted the server. We're keeping a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't act up again, but we're reasonably confident that this issue will not crop up again.
We apologize for the ...
